CONTRACTS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (CMS)
The CMS portal is a tool used by TradeMark East Africa to procure both goods and services. All suppliers and consultants wishing to work with TMEA MUST first register in the CMS portal – this is a one-off exercise. It is vital to note that all TMEA procurement takes place via the portal and submissions are to be made online via the portal and not emailed separately. All information is contained in a detailed manual of the system. For Open Competition, it is important to check the website regularly for updates.

A significant proportion of TMEA ’s expenditure is related to procurement of goods and services. Value for Money is therefore an over-riding consideration. TMEA’s funds are untied, which means that it will offer to partner with any contractor across the globe, whose bid for work is the most competitive. All applications must be made using the TMEA procurement form.
